The Sikorsky S-76C+ Corporate Transport

The current production model is the S-76C+, a variant of the original S-76A model dating back to 1979. Sikorsky has delivered over 575 aircraft within the S-76 series, with the C+ continuing this trend with over 130 deliveries since 1997. However, during the HAI Expo in Annaheim Los Angeles, Sikorsky announced two new models. The first of the new models, the S-76C++, is currently available for order, after the S-76C+ line recently sold out. We anticipate deliveries of this new model in 2006, which incorporates an upgraded engine, new VIP interior, health and usage monitoring system (HUMS) and new gearbox. Pricing on the S-76C++ remains the same as the S-76C+, according to Sikorsky.

Although manufactured in the Czech Republic & USA, the S-76 has succeeded globally, with over 575 units now operating in 44 countries throughout the world. There is not only one single market segment that has taken to the S-76. Although primarily utilised in the offshore oil industry to transport oil workers to the rigs, the S-76 has evolved as a truly multi-mission aircraft. Whether it be corporate/VIP, air ambulance, search and rescue, airline service or government utility - the S-76 is a proven aircraft that carries out all these missions both efficiently and effectively.

Sikorsky Announces Two New S76 Models:

...... and the future looks bright with planned enhancements currently being designed to include an improved main rotor blade, a quiet tail rotor, a new rotor head absorber and an electrical de-ice system.
